With a record 14 Cup of Excellence (CoE) 1st-place wins and a coffee cultivation history spanning over 100 years, it is truly a world-class standard. Beyond their reputation, their actual know-how in coffee farming and processing is top-tier. I've heard they have been collecting data on farming and processing every year for quite a long time, and they maintain consistent quality based on that accumulated data. Proving this point, their new sister farm, Las Macadamias, also recently secured back-to-back wins ('25, '26). As a result, El Injerto and Las Macadamias both took 1st place in the Geisha category this year, effectively achieving a double crown.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAnyway, while this coffee isn't from their signature Los Pinos or Las Milpas lots (a small amount of both will be stocked later), it still delivers a thoroughly excellent performance. It naturally features its distinctive lemon candy or orange candy nuances, along with well-expressed floral and peach flavors. Since the prices for auction lots have risen significantly, I think this will be a great coffee to enjoy for its sheer value (costing a mere 40% of the auction lot's price).
